Also, I just wanted to mention that two updates to the Limits to Growth study were published, in 1992 (under the title Beyond the Limits) and 2004 (The Limits to Growth: The 30-year Update). In 2008 the predictions of the original model were re-visited (Turner (2008)) and the chilling result was that the changes over the past 30 years fitted the model.
